Since January 2022, I have been Acting Director of the Innovation Studio at The Creative School, and during this time a lot of the Creativity Everything activity has become blended into the Innovation Studio work. That’s why this website didn’t have any 2022 updates – although the SSHRC-funded Reframing Creativity project continues and had many updates!
We have plans for an exciting Creativity Everything relaunch, later this year, when my Studio role has been handed over to my successor.
But for now, here’s a few updates on things that happened recently:
→ My new book, ‘Creativity: Seven Keys to Unlock Your Creative Self’, was published in November 2022, and is available as paperback, hardback, e-book and audiobook. We held a delightful launch event for it at the Studio where I played some live electronic music for the first time.
→ At the Innovation Studio we held a Summer Studio, our first creative summer camp for adult makers, artists and creators, in July 2022.
→ We continued development of practice-based research, including welcoming the second cohort of students on the practice-based Media and Design Innovation PhD program.
→ I released music on streaming platforms and as physical CD packages: Restless EP in May 2022 and Proximity Effect – Remix + Atmospheres in October 2022.
